Vincent Price: A Daughter's Biography by Victoria Price
I've been a fan of Vincent Price’s films for quite some time, so I’ve been eager to dive into the biography written by his daughter. It was a bit intimidating at first, with it being nearly 500 pages, but I’m really glad I finally started it. I enjoyed discovering details about his early roles and the behind-the-scenes stories from his time on set, along with the relationships he built with other actors. Since I’m such a fan of his horror films, I particularly loved the sections about his Poe adaptations and his collaborations with icons like Peter Lorre, Christopher Lee, Basil Rathbone, Boris Karloff, and more. That said, while I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about Vincent Price, I’ll admit the book was packed with so much information and so many details that it felt almost overwhelming at times.
